What you will do

• Perform insurance verification and review claims for accuracy and completeness.
• Submit claims, investigate denials, resolve billing discrepancies, and follow up with payers.
• Handle insurance appeals and correct claim information using appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Coordinate with providers, coders, and administrative staff to maintain accurate documentation and billing.
• Track and document follow-up activities, provide regular updates, and navigate insurance portals.
• Support timely billing and reimbursement while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of medical billing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability across work environments.
• Computer proficiency.
