Part-Time Service Technician (Industrial Refrigeration)

Location: Ridgeville, South Carolina, USA; work is performed at client facilities.

Salary: $25–30 per hour, depending on experience.

Provider of custom-engineered industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂, with in-house engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, service, and aftermarket support.

What you will do

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly mechanical integrity inspections at client facilities.
• Report inspection findings regularly to the Service Manager.
• Enter inspection results accurately into the company system using a computer.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Repair, maintain, and support commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC technical schooling is preferred.
• Universal EPA certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights and in confined spaces, and operate in heat, cold, dust, and noise.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally, and to stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Completion of pre-employment drug, felony, and motor vehicle record screenings; no tobacco products are permitted during the workday at job sites.

• Part-time daylight schedule of 2–3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, within 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., totaling 10 hours per week.
