Assembly Technician - Electronics Manufacturing

What you will do

• Assemble, calibrate, and test electronic and optical assemblies.
• Use adhesives to bond and seal products and perform soldering, cleaning, inspection, and quality checks.
• Work with Engineering R&D to develop and document new assembly processes and techniques.
• Manage inventory and electrical components.
• Perform basic maintenance and servicing of electrical and optical assembly equipment.
• Pack semi-finished goods for safe transport and support product quality inspections.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in electronic and electrical assembly.
• Experience assembling high-value products in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Good visual and mechanical dexterity for handling, inspecting, cleaning, and soldering.
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, processing software, and laboratory equipment.
• High attention to quality and detail, strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and knowledge of WHS practices.

Nice to have

• Electronic, optical, or similar technical qualification.
• Willingness to learn products in a specialist industry.
