Principal Business Development Specialist (M&A)

What you will do

• Lead and manage M&A activities, including due diligence, transaction negotiation, implementation, and post-transaction activities.
• Support the development and execution of strategic plans focused on growth and profitability.
• Coordinate corporate strategy initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Provide analysis-based strategic recommendations and guidance to senior leadership.
• Build financial models and conduct analysis to support investment prioritization and decision-making.
• Monitor market dynamics, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies while improving strategic planning processes and stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• Business-level Japanese proficiency is required.
• Fluent English is required.
• Proven experience leading M&A execution.
• Track record in M&A execution, strategic planning, or corporate development.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and strategic problem-solving skills.
