Industrial Refrigeration Technician (Ammonia/CO₂)

Location: Nationwide travel across the United States; 10 days on and 4 days off

Salary: $30–$60 per hour, dependent on experience

hirify.global provides custom-engineered industrial refrigeration and process-cooling solutions using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂, with in-house engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, service, and aftermarket support.

What you will do

• Repair and maintain industrial refrigeration equipment for food, beverage, and refrigerated-storage customers.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
• Inspect and maintain screw and reciprocating compressors, central ammonia systems, control systems, and alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, including high- and low-voltage controls.
• Follow workplace safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements.
• Travel nationwide on a 10-day tour schedule, typically working 50–60 hours per week.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Universal EPA certification.
• Working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls.
• Ability to travel nationwide on a 10-days-on, 4-days-off schedule.
• Successful completion of pre-employment and regular drug testing, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening.

Nice to have

• HVAC/R or electrical technical-school education.
• RETA 1 and RETA 2 certifications.
• Motor alignment experience.
