Senior Healthcare Technical Specialist, Oracle Health (Cerner) - CCL

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 USD base annually; estimated total compensation including annual incentive compensation: $134,400–$171,100 USD

What you will do

• Extract accurate healthcare data from Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, Epic, and other EHR platforms.
• Develop, test, maintain, and tune Cerner Command Language (CCL) queries for Oracle Health data extraction.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, data extracts, and reporting datasets using SQL Server and related tools.
• Build, enhance, and support reports and dashboards in SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Translate clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory reporting requirements into technical designs and solutions.
• Document data designs, processes, and solutions while managing priorities independently and collaborating with project teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 or more years of healthcare experience is required, including hands-on work with clinical, financial, operational, or IT healthcare data.
• Experience extracting and working with data from Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, Epic, or other EHR platforms.
• Ability to write, test, and maintain CCL for Oracle Health (Cerner) data extraction.
• Strong SQL skills, including querying, data analysis, reporting, and SQL Server data structures and performance.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau, plus Visual Studio and SSIS for reporting and data integration development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience; clear communication and the ability to work independently are required.

Nice to have

• Broader Oracle Health (Cerner) product knowledge or MEDITECH reporting tools such as BCA, Report Writer, or Report Designer.
• Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases, RPA or scripting tools such as Boston Workstation or Summit, and large-scale healthcare IT implementations.
• Consulting or client-facing experience, team or project leadership, and exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced healthcare analytics.
