Pricing and Reference Data Implementation Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; full-time, office-based role

What you will do

• Gather client requirements and prepare proof-of-concept files.
• Transform, filter, validate, and test pricing and reference data solutions.
• Design implementation processes and troubleshoot feed integration and data issues.
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, consulting, and pre-sales coverage teams.
• Develop expertise in instrument identifiers, prices, corporate actions, terms and conditions, and derived analytics.
• Support product development, client relationship management, standardization, training, and complex-situation debriefing.

Requirements

• University degree in data, business, technology, or a related field.
• At least one year of professional experience.
• Interest in data, technology, and financial markets, with knowledge of financial products and instruments.
• Experience with data management and query languages, plus the ability to navigate Excel functions and code arguments.
• Strong organization, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to analyze, validate, and interpret complex datasets and resolve reconciliation or feed integration issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial data and security types including equities, fixed income, derivatives, foreign exchange, and commodities.
• Data modeling experience with SQL or Python.
• Experience with FQL and Screening syntax.
• Participation in the CFA Program or technology certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Snowflake, or Power BI.
