Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Capability Center)

Location: Chicago, United States

Base salary: $120,000–$145,000 USD per year. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive compensation: $134,400–$171,100 USD per year.

What you will do

• Build full-stack features on AWS and Azure using Claude and other AI models.
• Work directly with business users in a pod-based delivery model.
• Develop tests and evaluations for everything that ships.
• Implement design direction from the Solution Architect and identify gaps in the proposed design.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience building software or AI systems.
• Strong Python skills and experience with AWS or Azure.
• Ability to build solutions while working closely with business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Senior Associate position level.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG, AI agents, and Agentic DevOps tooling.
• Front-end development skills.
• Healthcare or higher education experience.
• AWS AI Practitioner, Azure AI-900, or Azure AI-102 certification.
