Production Planner (Manufacturing)

The Yongle business manufactures PVC and cloth adhesive tapes for wire harnessing and insulation applications at facilities in China and Malaysia.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule based on work orders, production priorities, capacity, manpower, and material availability.
• Plan daily manufacturing activities to meet production output, quality, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, and other stakeholders to prioritize urgent orders and ensure committed shipping dates.
• Manage demand and supply planning, material replenishment, and inventory levels.
• Analyze production costs, efficiency, service KPIs, and bottlenecks to support continuous improvement.
• Adjust production schedules to address changing priorities, capacity constraints, and unexpected disruptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or a related function.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Mandarin proficiency for coordination with regional stakeholders.
