Electrical Engineer

Location: Exeter, New Hampshire, USA; full-time onsite position

Technology company developing customized electric heating systems and open coil heating products for unique customer applications.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary product expert for open coil heating products.
• Design and modify electrical and mechanical drawings using 2D and 3D CAD applications.
• Develop control panel designs with sales, engineering teams, and suppliers using AutoCAD.
• Create component layouts, wiring, power distribution, assembly, and fabrication drawings.
• Work from customer-specific requirements and address specification refinements.
• Research, diagnose, and resolve customer issues while maintaining product and application knowledge.

Requirements

• AS or BS degree in Electrical Engineering; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D and 3D CAD drafting.
• Ability to select materials and define tolerances to meet specifications, improve manufacturability, and reduce cost.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, multitasking, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers and suppliers and deliver presentations.

Nice to have

• Experience in capital equipment manufacturing.
