Senior Analyst, Integration & Separation Accounting – M & O

Location: Chicago, IL — Chicago/Aon Center

New Hire Base Salary Range: $89,800.00–$112,200.00 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Own integration and separation accounting lifecycle coverage across diligence, planning, process design, TSA execution, external manufacturing agreements, and stabilization.
• Prepare M&A diligence requests, management reporting adjustments, buyer-facing reporting packages, and supporting documentation for carved financial statements.
• Design transition processes for acquisitions and divestitures and communicate them across the finance and accounting organization.
• Execute M&O accounting through financial statement reconciliations, journal entries, analysis, and month-end close procedures.
• Account for TSA activity using material ledger costing, overhead absorption, capitalization policies, and BOM/routing master data.
• Coordinate deliverables with third parties and cross-functional departments while establishing a repeatable acquisition and divestiture playbook.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• At least 2 years of public accounting, transaction advisory, or accounting experience within the CPG industry.
• Cost accounting exposure and knowledge of cost accounting methods permitted under US GAAP.
• Ability to produce high-quality work in ambiguous environments, interpret financial information analytically, and improve business processes.
• Business partnership mindset and ability to work across business functions.

Nice to have

• CPA or MBA.
• Experience with Excel, SAP, Claude or Copilot, and Hyperion Financial Management.
