Sr. Financial Analyst (Manufacturing Finance)

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid with 3 days onsite. Travel required: 0%. Relocation is not offered. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Salary: $73,600–$106,200 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead forecasting and analysis of material variances, explaining forecast-to-actual and budget-to-actual results.
• Own monthly WIP inventory book-to-perpetual reconciliations across manufacturing plants and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage Excess and Obsolete reserve reconciliations, inventory aging analysis, reserve calculations, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts, reconcile count variances, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Prepare month-end inventory journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.
• Partner with plant operations, procurement, supply chain, and finance teams on root-cause analysis, corrective actions, process automation, audits, mentoring, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis and planning.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.
• Strong data analysis and automation background, including Power BI, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple projects.
• Ability to work in a team environment and interact cross-functionally.
