Senior Software Quality Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Richfield, Ohio, with on-site work at least two days per week, or fully remote from the USA if not local to the office.

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and execute QA strategies for moderately complex projects in line with organizational standards.
• Analyze features and user stories, validating acceptance criteria, testability, and change impact.
• Design, implement, maintain, and review automated test scripts and test frameworks.
• Plan and execute functional, regression, integration, and lower-level system testing before releases.
• Track defects through resolution, perform root cause analysis, and improve QA processes and tools.
• Provide technical guidance and support to lower-level QA staff, with potential coaching and performance responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of related experience in quality assurance or test engineering.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Knowledge of API testing, SQL and database testing, CI/CD, DevOps, version control, Agile, and modern SDLC practices.
• Familiarity with tools including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Postman, Jira, TestRail, GitHub Actions, SQL Server, or Snowflake.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CSQE, ISTQB CTFL, or Certified Agile Tester certification or progress toward one.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing, including test data design and AI-generated test cases.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical, and business relationship skills.
