Commercial HVAC Installer

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; extensive travel to jobsites across the US is required.

hirify.global manufactures commercial kitchen ventilation systems and provides integrated HVAC solutions, including fans, heaters, ductwork, and HVAC equipment.

What you will do

• Install rooftop units, supply, return, and exhaust ductwork, exhaust fans, and related HVAC equipment.
• Execute full rooftop-unit change-outs and install low-voltage controls and space HMIs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and mechanical drawings.
• Follow installation standards for equipment lifts, deck cutouts, gaskets, and organized jobsites.
• Coordinate with the Installation Manager, Field Engineer, and field teams to keep projects on schedule and on specification.
• Maintain safe work practices throughout every installation.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude, reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel extensively to jobsites across the United States.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• One to five years of relevant experience is preferred.
• HVAC installation experience is preferred but not required; training is available for candidates with the right attitude and skills.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Refrigeration piping and brazing experience.
• EPA certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Building Automation Systems, controls, commissioning, or air-balancing experience.
• OSHA 10/30 certification.
