Senior HR Compliance Consultant

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship

Salary: $83,100–$141,300 USD per year, plus a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.

What you will do

• Identify new employment laws and regulations and advise business partners and senior management on their impact.
• Lead HR Compliance programs, including global background checks and personal relationship disclosures.
• Develop policies, procedures, manuals, codes of conduct, and practice guidelines for HR Compliance programs.
• Assess, document, and measure HR Compliance risks and recommend controls to mitigate significant risks.
• Engage with business partners, regulators, and internal and external auditors on regulatory topics.
• Lead HR Compliance projects and produce government agency reports, analysis, and compliance metrics.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience, preferably in HR Compliance or risk management, or equivalent related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of employment regulations, local laws, HR Compliance, and risk management.
• Strong communication, analytical, dashboard reporting, and consulting skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills, and AI for analysis and metrics reporting.
• U.S. work authorization is required without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
