Field Service Engineer (Actuators)

Location: Bilbao, Spain; hybrid work with extensive travel and overnight stays

What you will do

• Provide service plans and responsive technical support at customer sites.
• Identify faults, repair, test, and modify actuators in the field.
• Install actuators and complete mechanical and electrical retrofit adaptations.
• Work with components, pedestals, and drive shafts during site installations.
• Prepare accurate technical site visit reports for each job.
• Resolve customer issues promptly as part of the national Field Service Engineer team.

Requirements

• Technical experience or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems.
• Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical theory, and fluid power theory.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and use common testing and calibration tools.
• Experience in a practical engineering environment.
• Ability to work under pressure with demanding customers and solve problems logically.
• Full valid driving licence and fluent English required.
