Hardware Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain hardware for motion-control products, with a focus on servo drives.
• Design and redesign electronic circuits, including schematics and PCB layouts.
• Analyze circuits, select components, run simulations, and optimize performance.
• Perform hands-on hardware board bring-up, system debugging, and optimization.
• Create and improve technical documentation, including manuals, datasheets, architecture documents, assembly instructions, and test reports.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, customers, and suppliers on technical requirements, product development, and integration.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• Experience designing electronic circuits and working with electronics assembly and PCB/PCA manufacturing processes.
• Background in electrical power applications and electronics verification and validation.
• Proven experience with Altium Designer.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git or SVN.
• Knowledge of motion control or robotics, including motor types, feedback systems, and controls.
• Experience with EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Profinet, or CANopen.
• Experience with CE, UL, safety, or other certification processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills.
