Material Coordinator (Customer Service)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite warehouse and logistics operations

Salary: $20.00–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Manage and resolve customer requests through the ServiceNow Customer Service Request system.
• Communicate material status, inventory availability, and request updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Research inventory, perform stock checks, process goods receipts, locate materials, and expedite shipments.
• Execute and monitor inventory transactions in SAP while maintaining data accuracy and process compliance.
• Verify vendor documentation and labels, and collaborate with warehouse, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts, support warehouse activities, and follow safety and PPE requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in material handling, inventory control, logistics, supply chain operations, or a related field.
• Hands-on SAP experience with inventory management, material movements, goods receipts, and transaction processing.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to walk and stand frequently and lift, move, push, or pull materials weighing up to 35 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience operating powered industrial vehicles and material-handling equipment.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution operations.
