Assembly - Fit up&Welder

Location: Solaro, Italy; onsite, full-time

Salary: €34,000–€39,000 per year

Global engineering and manufacturing business producing mission-critical flow-control solutions, including mechanical seals, couplings, bearings, filtration systems, and predictive digital monitoring technologies.

What you will do

• Perform mechanical assembly and fit-up work according to assembly procedures and mechanical drawings.
• Prepare and organize the work area and use fixed and portable workshop machinery, including drills, milling machines, pipe benders, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Construct products in accordance with technical specifications and deliver completed work accurately and on time.
• Record worked hours and quantities in SAP.
• Support the Welding department by preparing and assembling joints on pipes and tanks from ½ to 8 inches in diameter.
• Follow company procedures related to safety, environmental protection, and accident prevention while working with the Assembly Coordinator.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mechanical assembly, fit-up, and the machinery required for the role.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, and technical specifications.
• Practical knowledge of GTAW/TIG and FCAW/MIG/MAG welding techniques.
• Experience or ability to work with stainless steel and carbon steel.
• Ability to work accurately, independently, and punctually while following company procedures.
• Willingness to complete qualifications in accordance with European PED and American ASME standards and regulations.
