Senior Product Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, Texas; onsite, with no remote work available

What you will do

• Support product engineering activities across new product introduction and production phases.
• Participate in product bring-up, characterization, and silicon readiness with Design, Test, Applications, and manufacturing teams.
• Contribute to product specifications, operating limits, and guard-bands based on silicon behavior and manufacturing capability.
• Lead yield analysis, parametric trend monitoring, and root-cause investigations under senior guidance.
• Support manufacturing release, product change notifications, qualification activities, and cost, yield, and cycle-time improvements.
• Act as a technical contact for production issues and customer returns, collaborating with Quality Engineering on failure analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor product engineering; test or design experience may also be considered.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor-based power products, including digital power controllers and power stages.
• Strong data analysis skills using JMP, Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Practical experience with or exposure to new product development processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage in technical discussions with cross-functional teams and customers.
