Ammonia Service Technician (Industrial Refrigeration)

Location: Nationwide across the United States; travel required on a 10-days-on, 4-days-off tour schedule

Salary: $30–$60 per hour, dependent on experience

hirify.global provides engineered industrial refrigeration and process cooling solutions using ammonia and CO₂, with in-house engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, service, and aftermarket support.

What you will do

• Repair and maintain industrial refrigeration equipment for food and beverage and refrigerated storage customers.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
• Inspect and maintain screw and reciprocating compressors and ammonia central systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, alarm systems, and high- and low-voltage equipment.
• Follow applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED; HVAC technical schooling is preferred.
• Universal EPA certification.
• Working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls.
• Willingness to travel nationwide on a 10-days-on, 4-days-off schedule, typically working 50–60 hours per week.
• Successful completion of pre-employment and regular drug testing, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening is required.

Nice to have

• RETA 1 and 2 certification.
• Motor alignment experience.
