Procurement/Contract Administration Specialist (Environmental Management): Supporting federal procurement and contract administration for DOE Environmental Management at the Hanford Field Office with an accent on solicitations, proposal evaluation, contract awards, FAR/DEAR compliance, and subcontract management. Focus on cost and price analysis, project planning and controls, risk management, earned value management, and compliant contract file closeouts in a regulated nuclear cleanup environment.

Location: Richland, Washington, United States; predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, with some remote support as approved by the Contracting Officer. Occasional travel is allowed with prior written approval.

What you will do

  • Develop solicitations, evaluate proposals, support contract awards, and administer contracts.
  • Manage acquisition planning, contract files, subcontract activities, and contract closeouts.
  • Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR).
  • Provide cost and price analysis, procurement counsel, project planning, cost estimating, scheduling, and risk management support.
  • Support performance measurement, earned value management, and project direction for DOE Environmental Management programs.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of federal procurement or contract support experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience with contract administration, cost and price analysis, compliance, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Strong attention to detail, negotiation, communication, and schedule discipline.
  • Work must be performed predominantly on-site in Richland, Washington, at the Hanford Field Office or Hanford Site; some remote support may be approved.
  • Facility Clearance is required; DOE clearance may be required for specific classified work.

  • DOE or Environmental Management sector experience.
  • Professional certifications related to procurement, contracts, or project management.
