Associate Director, BCB Term Lending Pricing (Commercial Banking)

Location: Hybrid role based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham or Bristol, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site.

Salary: £78,372–£87,080 per year

What you will do

• Price commercial term lending facilities ranging from £25k to £500m while balancing customer outcomes, risk and sustainable returns.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and business performance to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
• Develop pricing strategies and recommendations to support business objectives and lending decisions.
• Produce recurring management information, reporting and performance analysis.
• Develop and improve Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for data-driven decisions.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and senior stakeholders across Product, Risk, Finance and Coverage teams, embedding governance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience using Power BI to generate insight and support decision-making.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance customer outcomes, growth and financial returns.
• Strong partner management and influencing skills, including presenting complex data as clear recommendations for senior audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in Business and Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking or commercial lending.
• Pricing experience in banking, lending, financial services or a comparable commercial environment.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent professional accountancy qualification.
• Knowledge of lending products, pricing governance and risk management frameworks.
• Experience with Group Data Warehouse or similar enterprise data platforms.
