IT System Administrator

What you will do

• Install, operate, adjust, support, monitor, and test x86/x64 Microsoft Windows servers.
• Maintain and troubleshoot VMware and Azure Cloud virtualized environments.
• Monitor system performance and availability using tools such as Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Support IT infrastructure across departmental boundaries and contribute to group-wide initiatives.
• Create technical concepts and documentation and set up new infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, equivalent education, or long-standing experience in IT infrastructure operations.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems, including Server 2019, 2022, and 2025.
• Strong server virtualization skills, especially with VMware and Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SCOM, storage systems, LAN, SAN, TCP/IP networking principles, backup, and virtualization technologies.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, with self-initiative, teamwork, strong communication skills, and good verbal and written English.
