System Administrator (Linux) in the EU

Salary: EUR 900–1,700 per month gross

What you will do

• Ensure stable, secure, and continuous operation of the meGov infrastructure and applications.
• Operate and maintain Linux servers and application environments based on SUSE 12/15.
• Manage Docker environments and application clusters.
• Monitor systems, logs, and performance, and perform system analysis.
• Administer PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
• Handle incidents, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with IT-DLZ.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator in technology or digital products.
• Hands-on experience operating Linux-based systems.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, performance analysis, and application clusters.
• Knowledge of Docker and DevOps principles.
• Basic knowledge of IT security and system hardening.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above and German at Intermediate+ level or above.
