Infusion RN Sr.-Flower Mound (Oncology)

Location: Flower Mound, Texas, United States. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; no weekends, call, or major holidays.

A large community oncology provider delivering evidence-based cancer care through sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of oncology patient care.
• Assess patients and families and provide education and instructional materials.
• Prepare and administer therapies, medications, and blood products under physician supervision.
• Assess laboratory results and patients’ conditions to support dose modifications and symptom management.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central-line catheter devices.
• Document patient care and treatments accurately and support reimbursement and charge capture.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and ongoing continuing education.
• At least five years of nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology, is preferred for the senior level.
• Knowledge of age-specific patient care across late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and older adulthood.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
