RN - PRN Chemo (Oncology)

What you will do

• Assess patients, review medical histories, coordinate continuity of care, and document nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and blood products, adjust doses according to protocols, and complete required authorizations and consent forms.
• Perform venipuncture, access ports, maintain central lines, and administer infusion therapy.
• Educate patients and families, provide psychosocial support, and triage patient calls.
• Coordinate tests, referrals, follow-up appointments, patient flow, and interdisciplinary communication.
• Support clinical research, mentor LPNs and medical assistants, cover satellite offices as needed, and maintain portable infusion pumps.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification and compliance with continuing education requirements.
• 0–3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
