Material Planner (Supply Chain)

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia; onsite

What you will do

• Manage and optimize raw material planning, ordering, usage analysis, and inventory processes.
• Perform daily planning for web stock materials and standardize planning procedures.
• Develop vendor management processes for accurate forecasting and timely ordering.
• Lead projects involving inventory management, cycle counts, loss reduction, and service quality improvement.
• Support new product introductions and transitions, resolve invoice exceptions, and coordinate international orders.
• Oversee the daily editor schedule and coordinate priorities with operations, scheduling, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least two years of scheduling, planning, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, communication, and customer-focus skills.
• Ability to own issues, drive results, initiate change, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Enterprise Lean Sigma problem-solving tools, including A3 Thinking or similar lean methodologies.
• Experience in process documentation and improvement initiatives.
