MMM Care Center Registered Nurse - Aibonito Diagnostic and Treatment Center (CDT)

Location: Onsite in Aibonito, Puerto Rico; full-time attendance at the posted location is required. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance unless a legally required accommodation is granted. Rotating shifts are scheduled Monday through Sunday between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays.

What you will do

• Assist physicians with healthcare services under medical supervision and collaborate with specialists and other care professionals.
• Collect patient information, identify chief complaints, complete medical histories, and perform triage and clinical assessments.
• Measure and document vital signs and conduct preliminary tests, including EKGs, spirometry, glucometer tests, and urine tests.
• Perform clinical procedures such as venipuncture, skin punctures, strep screens, and non-stress tests as directed.
• Administer physician-ordered medications, vaccines, injections, intravenous treatments, topical treatments, and wound dressings.
• Support treatment planning, referrals, care coordination, patient education, and efforts to close gaps in care.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and at least three years of related medical or emergency room experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Puerto Rico required.
• Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency required.
• Advanced Life Support certifications, including ACLS and PALS, are required.
• EKG certification is required.
• Current Puerto Rico health and Law 300 certificates are required for Puerto Rico-based patient-facing associates.
