Staff Post Silicon Electrical Validation Engineer (DDR5)

Location: Duluth, Georgia, United States; onsite, full-time. Remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Lead post-silicon bring-up, bench validation, and electrical characterization across multiple product iterations.
• Apply de-embedding, high-impedance probing, noise compensation, and other measurement techniques to address signal-integrity challenges.
• Characterize critical electrical and timing parameters for high-speed memory devices and collaborate with design, system, product engineering, and validation teams.
• Debug and optimize device performance using exploratory, open-ended test approaches beyond specification-driven measurements.
• Analyze experimental results, define follow-up validation experiments, and produce clear reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop and validate LLM/AI applications for large-scale validation data analysis, visualization, and reporting-cycle reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with high-speed analog and mixed-signal devices.
• Strong understanding of signaling levels, termination architectures, signal integrity tradeoffs, and memory interface operation.
• Expertise with high-speed interface test equipment, including BERTs, oscilloscopes, and compliance software.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for test automation and analysis.
• Ability to work onsite in Duluth, Georgia; remote work is not available.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience with advanced signal-integrity measurements and design-correlation applications.
• Strong understanding of memory interface architecture, protocols, standards, and DDR5 operation.
