Infusion RN Sr. (Oncology)

Location: Dallas, Texas — on-site at Dallas Medical City. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; no weekends, on-call shifts, or major holidays.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of patient care.
• Assess patient and family needs and provide education and instructional materials.
• Prepare and administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products under physician supervision.
• Assess patients and laboratory results, support dose modifications, and coordinate symptom management with physicians.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central-line catheter devices.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and apply reimbursement and charge-capture procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and compliance with continuing education requirements.
• At least five years of nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology, for the Senior level.
• Oncology experience is strongly preferred; oncology certification is preferred for the Senior level.
• Ability to work on-site in Dallas and meet the physical demands of an oncology clinic, including extended standing and walking and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
