Oncology Infusion Registered (RN) (Oncology)

Location: Webster, Texas, United States. Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.

A large community oncology provider delivering medical oncology, hematology, radiation, surgery, and diagnostic imaging services across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of patient care.
• Assess patient and family needs and provide education and instructional materials.
• Prepare and administer oncology therapies, medications, and blood products under physician supervision.
• Assess patients and laboratory results, calculate doses, and support treatment modifications in consultation with physicians.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central-line catheter devices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and apply reimbursement and charge-capture procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program; a BSN is preferred.
• Current RN state license and registration with the applicable State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and compliance with continuing education requirements.
• Level I: 0–3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience is strongly preferred.
• Level II: At least 3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience is strongly preferred.
• Senior level: At least 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in oncology; oncology certification is preferred.
