Accounting Analyst-Intercompany

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Manage daily intercompany accounts receivable billing, receivables, accounts payable postings, payments, and internal order and cost center assessments.
• Review monthly intercompany reconciliations, resolve imbalances, and coordinate complex outstanding issues while maintaining operational KPIs.
• Lead monthly intercompany payment processes and ensure balances are cleared in accordance with country-specific practices.
• Monitor intercompany markup billing and verify appropriate tax rates for manual billing activities.
• Analyze quarterly US GAAP intercompany reports and 10K69 tax reports, support external audits, and assist with transfer pricing documentation.
• Lead issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives to simplify accounting processes and improve data accuracy and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; accounting qualification is an advantage.
• More than 3 years of experience in a multinational company or audit firm, including exposure to intercompany and internal order accounting.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, accounting applications, US GAAP, and finance accounting standards and procedures.
• SAP system knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, problem-solving, customer-focus, and change-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize urgent situations and work effectively under pressure.
