TL;DR
Finance & Tax Analyst (Finance/Tax): Providing financial analysis and reporting for management with an accent on product costing, ledger close, reconciliations, and tax compliance. Focus on preparing tax provisions and submissions, supporting transfer pricing and indirect tax matters, and assessing changes in tax regulations.
Location: Batu Kawan, Malaysia; onsite, full time

What you will do
- Perform product cost analysis and review price changes to support improvement initiatives and business decisions.
- Analyze excess and obsolete inventory.
- Close sub-ledgers and general ledgers monthly within established timelines.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations between sub-ledgers and the General Ledger in line with corporate policy.
- Record manual journal entries in Oracle, including accruals and adjustments.
- Prepare and support tax provisions, computations, submissions, filings, and payments; liaise with tax agents, auditors, and relevant authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accountancy, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of tax or audit experience.
- Ability to support transfer pricing, corporate income tax, withholding tax, SST/GST, and other applicable tax matters.
- Ability to monitor tax regulation changes and assess their impact on the business.
