Onsite Service Engineer (High-Voltage Switchgear)

Location: Onsite in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Sheng, China; extensive domestic and overseas travel required.

What you will do

• Lead onsite installation, erection, and commissioning of high-voltage switchgear equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in circuit breakers and disconnecting switches.
• Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to improve equipment reliability and service life.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers, providing guidance and practical solutions.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and commissioning documentation.
• Train customers in equipment operation, safety practices, and routine maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in field service, commissioning, or maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Experience installing and commissioning circuit breakers and disconnecting switches, with strong troubleshooting, electrical wiring, and mechanical skills.
• Customer-facing technical support experience and the ability to deliver technical guidance and training.
• English proficiency and willingness to travel extensively on long-term domestic and overseas business trips.
