Maintenance Engineer-EE (Electrical)

What you will do

• Maintain and repair HV, MV, and LV transformers, power supply systems, MCCs, motor drives, lighting, UPS, VFD controls, and related electrical equipment.
• Respond to scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance requests on a 24/7 basis.
• Monitor plant equipment and facilities for safety, housekeeping, environmental compliance, and serviceability.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and Mechanical Integrity support.
• Coordinate or supervise contractors to ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality work.
• Maintain equipment documentation and history databases, complete checklists, and submit technical reports and weekly time entries.

Requirements

• Diploma or two- to three-year technical college qualification in an engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience in gas, petrochemical, chemical, textile, or fiber manufacturing; a minimum of 5 years is stated as the starting experience requirement.
• Experience with HV, MV, and LV electrical systems, MV/LV MCCs, LV switchgear, generators, electrical equipment preventive maintenance, and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with equipment such as transformers, switchgear, motors, instrumentation, UPS, or VFD control systems.
• Good oral and written communication skills; English is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with an honest and committed approach to assigned work.
