Senior Strategic Business Partner (Finance)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid remote/office with 2 home office days per week

What you will do

• Partner with portfolio, product, solution management, and software development leaders on financial and strategic decisions.
• Evaluate R&D investments, prepare financial business plans, and calculate return on investment for product portfolio decisions.
• Lead forecasting for related spending and support budgeting, reporting, and performance management.
• Provide commercial guidance throughout the product and solution lifecycle, from innovation and development through commercialization and portfolio management.
• Collaborate with technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders across international organizations.
• Drive simplification, automation, and continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting tools, and controlling practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Approximately 8–10 years of experience in finance, controlling, business partnering, commercial management, product management, business development, or a comparable role.
• Expertise in business strategy, portfolio management, business case development, financial modeling, investment evaluation, product lifecycle management, and profitability analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, performance controlling, and investment evaluation.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, including collaboration across functions and cultures.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
