Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States. Workplace: On-site. Applicants must meet U.S. Government space technology export regulations and be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Salary: $139,500–$192,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead the Mission Assurance organization supporting DoD customers and internal missions.
  • Establish and execute mission assurance plans covering quality, manufacturing, engineering processes, and customer requirements.
  • Lead mission assurance activities for design reviews, process qualification reviews, configuration audits, and hardware acceptance reviews.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits related to AS9100, DoD standards, and applicable requirements.
  • Facilitate FMECA and root cause corrective action investigations, and lead Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards.
  • Develop supplier quality strategy, ensure supplier compliance, and manage and mentor a team of professionals.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Mission Assurance, Quality, or Reliability Engineering within the defense, aerospace, or space industry.
  • Direct experience supporting a complex DoD program.
  • 5+ years of management experience leading technical teams and interfacing with government customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Expert-level understanding of AS9100 and DoD standards.
  • Possession of or eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
