DGS Team Lead

Location: Melbourne VIC, Australia; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Maintain safety requirements and consistent quality standards across DGS refurbishment and testing.
• Operate DGS testing facilities and conduct virtual tests with customers.
• Review, approve, and provide concessions for inspection reports and test results.
• Provide technical guidance on seal assembly issues, test failures, equipment, and customer solutions.
• Maintain calibration and certification of tools and equipment, review designs, and order new test equipment.
• Train the team in calibration software, testing principles, DGS operation, and product capabilities.

Requirements

• Diploma, university degree in Engineering, or a relevant vocational technical qualification.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a proactive multinational and multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP.
• Knowledge of lapping and polishing.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of the John Crane product portfolio.
