Surgical Coordinator (Medical Equipment)

Location: Philadelphia District / Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, United States; onsite, full-time

Salary: $22.95–$36.96 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physician office staff, technicians, and customers.
• Manage medical equipment inventory, supplies, fleet vehicles, shipping and receiving, requisitions, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, equipment readiness, missing equipment recovery, software upgrades, accessories, and ready-line audits.
• Train Laser Technician staff on equipment cleaning, testing, inspection, features, and functionality.
• Support district operations, customer meetings, service expansion, staffing, and on-call scheduling.
• Maintain accurate billing and regulatory documentation, including laser logs and work orders.

Requirements

• Certified Laser Technician 2 or above and able to perform all Laser Technician duties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written, verbal, listening, organization, customer service, conflict resolution, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, sit for long periods, bend and reach repetitively, lift up to 80 pounds, and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must comply with patient privacy, safety, health, quality, customer, and regulatory requirements; vaccinations may be required based on customer or company requirements.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of supervision, management, or customer excellence experience.
• Healthcare industry and laser technician experience.
• Business management knowledge.
• DOT certification, where required by location-specific business needs.
