Licensed Optician - Assistant Manager

Location: 2020 Hwy 9 Suite 104, Old Bridge, New Jersey, United States; onsite, full-time

Salary: USD 26.95–38.58 per hour

What you will do

• Drive and monitor profit, sales, and performance goals while managing operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee eyeglass department operations, efficiency, compliance, quality standards, and improvement plans.
• Supervise, motivate, and coach Opticians and customer-facing associates.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain positive customer experiences.
• Execute merchandising, marketing initiatives, pricing promotions, and company standards.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, retention, and mentoring of Apprentice Opticians where permitted by law.

Requirements

• Maintain an optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong oral and written communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• ABO and NCLE certification.
