Planning Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Onsite at Lot 32 Jalan Hi-Tech Park 4, Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia

What you will do

• Plan material requirements and coordinate demand, production planning, procurement, global procurement, and suppliers.
• Maintain material inventory within forecast targets and improve lead times, pricing, sourcing continuity, quality, and delivery.
• Manage production plans, forecasts, schedules, capacity analysis, inventory performance, and on-time delivery for production lines.
• Prepare KPI, risk inventory, spend, supplier delivery, and supplier performance reports.
• Manage outsourcing activities and own the full Oracle launch in operations.
• Lead and coach the planning team while coordinating with customers and financial departments on sales, contribution margin, and spending plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of related experience with team management in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 10 years of experience in material planning, production planning, control, and management in a foreign-invested company.
• Knowledge of material planning, production planning, scheduling, inventory control, production control, and ERP systems.
• Good written and spoken English is required.
• Strong data analysis, leadership, communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and stress-management skills.
