What you will do
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with local, regional, and global finance teams.
- Provide financial leadership and decision support to the Surgery business by identifying growth opportunities, investment priorities, risks, and performance drivers.
- Analyze sales, pricing and rebate governance, gross profit, price-volume performance, portfolio results, and operating expenses.
- Partner with Commercial Excellence and business leaders to incorporate market trends, competitive intelligence, reimbursement dynamics, and customer insights into financial planning.
- Support portfolio investment decisions, resource allocation, demand planning, inventory management, and Integrated Business Planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, SOX, HCC, FCPA, tax, statutory, and audit requirements while improving financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in commercial finance, finance business partnering, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.
- Strong capabilities in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and P&L management.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and supporting strategic decisions through data-driven financial insights.
- Strong understanding of financial governance, internal controls, compliance frameworks, and audit requirements.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
Nice to have
- ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MBA, or another professional finance qualification.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Anaplan, or equivalent ERP and planning systems.
