TL;DR
Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A): Supporting global financial planning and analysis through revenue and margin analytics, corporate reporting, month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis with an accent on data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on improving financial processes, validating data warehouse outputs, analyzing spending drivers, and delivering strategic insights across regions and time zones.
Location: Malaysia. Specific in-office expectations may be determined by local site practices and business needs.

What you will do
- Review revenue and margin models, perform ad hoc business analysis, and support data-intensive projects including data warehouse testing and validation.
- Consolidate operating expenditure commentary, prepare reporting packages, maintain the corporate FP&A calendar, and support auditor flux commentaries.
- Support month-end close by reviewing spending, managing accruals, and analyzing revenue and margins.
- Participate in worldwide budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and rolling forecast processes.
- Analyze spending drivers and monthly actuals versus budget to identify trends and improve forecast accuracy.
- Identify process improvements and support complex analyses and special projects requested by leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, or a related finance role.
- Strong understanding and practical application of financial principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Experience with Oracle, Business Objects, and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills with formulas, lookups, SUMIF statements, nested IF statements, and PivotTables.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions and time zones.
- Independent, detail-oriented, adaptable, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Nice to have
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience with Adaptive Insights.
- Experience in a Malaysia-based finance, shared services, manufacturing, semiconductor, or technology environment.
- Experience partnering with global or regional teams.
