Demand Planning Manager (Automotive) (OE demand planning, S&OP): Leading regional OE demand governance and integrating demand plans into the AP S&OP process with an accent on automotive demand dynamics, planning methodology, and risk and opportunity management. Focus on translating market signals into business decisions, building planning capabilities across countries, and supporting profitable growth, inventory optimization, and OE-to-Replacement demand transition.
Location: Shanghai, China; full-time onsite role

What you will do
- Lead the AP original equipment (OE) Demand Planning function, including regional governance, planning methodology, business partnering, and demand integration into the AP S&OP process.
- Establish common planning standards, governance, and capability across AP clusters while driving consistent execution.
- Translate OE business strategies into executable demand plans and proactively manage demand risks and opportunities.
- Partner with AP OE Business leadership to support fact-based decisions, profitable growth, inventory optimization, and OE-to-Replacement demand transition.
- Serve as the regional Center of Excellence for OE Demand Planning in AP markets without dedicated cluster planning organizations.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in OE demand planning, OEM production planning, and automotive demand dynamics.
- Strong business partnering skills with commercial leadership, including the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience with demand planning methodology, governance, risk and opportunity management, and analytical interpretation of market signals.
- Ability to build regional planning capability across countries without direct authority and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- 7–10 years of experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, or OE Planning within multinational organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with digital planning, AI-enabled forecasting, or advanced analytics.
- OE planning experience in the automotive or industrial sectors.
- Experience designing planning methodology and governance frameworks and leading transformation.
- Master’s degree, APICS, IBF, or S&OP certification, or training in analytics or statistical modeling.
