Financial Operations and Reconciliation Specialist (Finance)

Location: Predominantly onsite at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington, with some remote support subject to Contracting Officer approval.

What you will do

• Support budget formulation and execution for DOE Environmental Management programs.
• Perform financial reconciliations, reporting, audit support, and funds control activities.
• Provide finance and administration support for the Hanford Field Office and related program activities.
• Automate financial dashboards used for DOE reporting.
• Support fiscal year-end surge activities and changing General Support Services requirements.
• Coordinate approved travel and support operations in a regulated federal program environment.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of federal finance or budget experience; DOE experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with funds control, reconciliations, and Excel or business intelligence tools.
• Strong accuracy, analytical, and communication skills.
• Work must be conducted predominantly onsite at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington; limited remote support requires approval.
• Facility Clearance is required, and DOE clearance may be required for classified work.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Environmental Management sector experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, plus familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
