American Girl NYC - Asset Protection Lead (Retail)

Location: NYC - New York AG Retail, 75 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, New York

Salary: $21–$24 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain a safe environment for customers, guests, and store employees.
• Monitor and correct safety concerns and control or guide customer traffic when needed.
• Provide professional customer service and de-escalate difficult situations.
• Prevent loss through surveillance, employee package checks, and trash checks.
• Serve as a safety mentor and coach Asset Protection Associates on their responsibilities.

Requirements

• A valid New York State security license is required.
• One to two years of loss prevention, law enforcement, criminal justice, military, or security experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
• Ability to work with a diverse workforce and customer base, including children, preferred.
• Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is required.
