Process System Engineer (Industrial Gas)

What you will do

• Design process systems for ASU, SVD, and other industrial gas bids and projects.
• Review process flow diagrams and develop, mark up, check, and publish P&ID revisions.
• Develop shutdown, permissive, and SNQ tables, and coordinate flowsheet change notes across disciplines.
• Lead or participate in P&ID reviews, reliability, operability, and hazard reviews, resolving technical and interface issues.
• Prepare plant operating manuals and procedures, process calculations, and ASU equipment specifications.
• Evaluate vendor solutions, support process improvements, and coach less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a relevant engineering field.
• Typically more than 10 years of experience in a design institute or relevant engineering environment.
• Knowledge of ASU and SVD process design, including vessels, exchangers, rotating equipment, and piping requirements.
• Experience with control valve sizing, relief case scenarios, and relief valve sizing.
• Understanding of process and machinery operation, including start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, along with strong communication, coaching, leadership, teamwork, and computer skills.
