Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Targeted base pay range: $122,500–$192,500 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable Java microservices powering the myhirify.global.com platform from concept through production.
• Develop and ship LLM-powered features, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and tool-use patterns.
• Use AI-assisted development tools while reviewing, refactoring, and validating generated code.
• Lead design discussions and code reviews, improving code quality, test coverage, and architectural clarity.
• Partner with product management, InfoSec, and platform teams to deliver compliant technical solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks through profiling, refactoring, and architectural improvements.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Deep proficiency deploying and operating services on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Production experience integrating LLM APIs such as Anthropic, Bedrock, or OpenAI into Java services.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Strong application-security foundation covering encryption, authentication, authorization, and secure API design.
• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems, event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
