Market Intelligence & Strategy Manager

Location: Jacksonville Division Office, Florida; daily attendance at the division, corporate office, or community is required

What you will do

• Evaluate existing and future community positioning through resale data, competitive market assessments, fieldwork, and site evaluations.
• Analyze market shifts, consumer preferences, specification levels, competitive supply, submarkets, and growth opportunities.
• Provide recommendations on community design, floor plans, specifications, pricing, products, promotion, and reliable pace and price forecasts.
• Conduct focus groups, surveys, and other primary research to bring consumer needs into product design and development.
• Prepare Portfolio Investment Committee reports and business cases for potential land purchases.
• Coordinate short- and long-term strategic initiatives and support strategic plan presentations and corporate workbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a quantitative field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• At least 4 years of experience in site selection, competitive assessments, and/or market evaluations in homebuilding or a similar industry.
• Experience gathering data from multiple sources and presenting it in charts, graphs, tables, and written analyses.
• Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to report to the division, corporate office, or community daily and adhere to the required schedule.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork, have face-to-face conversations, and operate a motor vehicle when applicable.
